"I ain't one to not leave mysteries unsolved..."

Down, Down, Down, is a side-scroller visual novel, where you uncover the mystery of the basement in this hotel! (3 endings in total)

This game is mainly focused on story and exploration. It is recommended to play the game at your own pace. The substantial amount of dialog in the game is intended to be read for the full experience.

KNOWN BUGS

  • Movement is pretty jittery.
  • Rarely, you can clip through the ground in random places. (i.e. the ground floor)
  • Stairs and movement cause the player to tilt forward.
  • Potential way to bug out dialog on Day 3.
  • Day 5 can be particularly buggy.
  • It's possible to get out of bounds in the lobby.
  • Using the lobby blockade on certain days can accidentally unlock some clues unintentionally.

TIPS

  • Not everyday will everything be the same, be sure to check any areas you believe may be different.
  • You don't need to collect every clue to progress onto the next day, though do know clues still matter.

Install instructions

Game Specifications (minimum)

  • 200 MB of storage.
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • Requires keyboard and mouse.

Simply extract the ZIP and run the executable.

On Linux, the game can be started by running start.sh  Note that the game may be finnicky on Linux.
